We proudly support NDIS participants to move, feel, and function with greater autonomy and confidence.
Our services are grounded in ethical, person-centred care that affirms neurodivergence, gender diversity, and lived experience.
Our practice is guided by trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming principles, making space for the unique needs, identities, and lived experiences of each person. We prioritise informed consent, emotional safety, and strategies that empower rather than override.
We also understand the paperwork. Our team has extensive experience producing high-quality, NDIS-aligned reports, including functional assessments, continence and pelvic health documentation, AT applications, and review submissions.
We offer:
Initial functional assessments and evidence-based reports to support NDIS access and plan reviews
Goal-oriented physiotherapy focused on independence, participation, and everyday movement
Continence and pelvic health assessments, including functional impact, environmental factors, and practical management strategies
1:1 sessions designed to support building the skills and confidence to take part in mainstream yoga or Pilates classes as a community activity
Home- and clinic-based therapy tailored to your preferences, access needs, and sensory profile
Assistive technology (AT) recommendations and reports, including continence-related AT, trials, justification, and training
Ongoing communication with support coordinators, plan managers, and your broader healthcare team.
Yoga & Pilates for Community Participation
Billed under CB Increased Social and Community Participation
Yoga and Pilates classes can be a wonderful way to connect with your community, build body awareness, and find a movement practice that feels like yours. Walking into a new class for the first time can feel overwhelming without the right preparation.
These 1:1 sessions are designed to support NDIS participants in building the skills and confidence to take part in mainstream yoga or Pilates classes as a community activity. Drawing on my background as a qualified Yoga and Pilates teacher, we work together at your own pace to:
Explore the structure and flow of a typical yoga or Pilates class, so it feels familiar before you arrive
Practise common sequences and movements in a safe, low-pressure environment
Build familiarity with the language, cues, and unwritten rules of these spaces
Identify any adaptations or props that might support your comfort and participation
This service is focused on community access and participation, not clinical assessment or outcome monitoring. It's about helping you feel prepared, included, and at ease in a mainstream movement space.
Who this might suit:
These sessions may be a great fit if you're curious about yoga or Pilates, have tried a class and found it hard to follow, or simply want to understand what to expect before you go. Sessions can be held in-clinic or at a location that works for you.
A note on funding:
These sessions are billed under CB Increased Social and Community Participation (Core Supports). They are separate from physiotherapy services, which are billed under Capacity Building — Improved Health and Wellbeing. If you're unsure which funding category applies to your goals, your support coordinator or plan manager can help.
